Key terms

• Copyright & ownership: Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, CG Production House retains copyright and intellectual property rights in the creative work we produce.

• Editing & repurposing: CG content may not be edited, cropped, adapted, rebranded, repurposed, reproduced or supplied to another production company, agency, freelancer or third party for modification without our prior written permission.

• Raw & source files: Raw footage, RAW photographs, editable project files, source files, working files and unused concepts are not included unless specifically quoted or agreed in writing.

• Client ownership changes: Our agreements and content licences apply to the contracting client. If a business is sold, transferred or changes control, the new owner must enter into a new agreement with CG before continuing to use or modify CG content where required by the full Terms.

• Payments: Invoices must be paid by their stated due dates. Where accounts remain overdue after notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter, CG may suspend services and may apply late-payment interest in accordance with the full Terms and applicable law.

• Scope & additional work: Services, deliverables, revision rounds, turnaround times, deposits and other commercial details are determined by the applicable quotation, invoice or written service arrangement.

• Privacy & POPIA: Personal information is processed in accordance with applicable South African law, including POPIA, and the detailed responsibilities of CG and the client are set out in the full Terms.

• Current Terms: CG may update these Terms from time to time as our services, legal requirements, technology and industry practices evolve. The latest Terms will always be made available on this page.
   

Third-party use of CG content
Production companies, agencies, designers, editors, freelancers and other third parties should obtain written authorisation from CG Production House before editing, adapting, repurposing or otherwise using CG-created content where permission is required.
If you would like permission to use or adapt existing CG Production House material, please contact us and we will gladly assist with the appropriate approval or licensing arrangement.
